Snake Dodge

Everyone stands in a circle except 7 players who form a snake in the center. The ball is given to the players who make up the circle. The ball is passed around by the players in the circle and when possible, is thrown at the ‘tail’ of the snake. The snake in the circle moves about attempting to protect the tail. When the tail person is struck below the knee, he or she must join the circle and the 2nd last person in the snake becomes the new tail. Gradually the snake is shortened until only 1 player remains. Several teams of 7 can be formed and a competition held to find which team can last the longest.
