Steal the Bacon Hockey Style

Form 2 teams and sit on opposite sides of the hall. Number each person. Use newspaper batons as hockey sticks and a rolled up sock or small bean bag as the ball. Place these in the center of the room to start. Leader calls out a number and players with that number must rush to the center, pick up a baton, get the sock into their goal. This is a favorite and always goes well.
